The new Facebook profile design gives you a big space at the top of your page to add an image of your choosing. Many businesses are creating custom pictures. Your profile photo overlaps the cover photo at the bottom left. Cover photos are 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall.
The cover photo area affords businesses the opportunity to create unique ads for their brands, services or products on Facebook.
